Harrow County: The Gothic Conflict Strategy Board Game for 1-3 Players, Ages 14+

Hester, the witch, was hung, burned, and buried under a tree. Her family came to Harrow County with the intention of destroying the town, but they are met with resistance from 18-year-old Emmy, who was born from the very tree under which Hester was laid to rest. The game features asymmetric combat, with players able to take on the role of either the Protectors, seeking to save townsfolk, or Hester's family, aiming to obliterate Harrow County. The third faction is the surprise return of Emmy's twin sister, Kammi, who desires to rule over Harrow County.

Players use mason jars to activate haints (undead creatures) and move them around the hex-based board in order to accomplish their objectives. Combat is resolved using a unique cube tower built into the box, offering a fresh and innovative gameplay experience. Additionally, a third player, Hester, the deceased witch buried under the tree, can enter the game. She controls the roots of the tree and can infect haints on her roots using the cube tower. If Hester comes back to life, she must consume the other legends to regain her full power and emerge victorious.

The game's asymmetric play styles and objectives make it highly replayable, as players can experiment with each faction. Furthermore, each faction offers 3 to 6 different Legends to choose from, providing a wide array of gameplay options for extensive replay value.

The built-in cube tower adds an exciting element to combat resolution, as players drop cubes into the hole in the top of the box, with ledges and holes throughout the tower ensuring that not all the cubes come out the front of the box. The attacker's success is determined by the number of cubes that come out compared to their opponent.

The third player can embody Hester, the dead witch, and control the roots of the tree, as well as infect opponents' units by placing a snake into a hole in their ear. In solo mode, players can take on the role of Hester and work to bring her back to life, providing an opportunity to learn and master the game.

With the Fair Folk Expansion, the game can accommodate up to 4 players. The expansion offers an enhanced gaming experience and is available now for those seeking to expand their gameplay options.
